A few days ago, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station said that the Oppo Watch 3 series will be unveiled on August 10. And today, Oppo corroborated that information as it took to Weibo to announce that the Watch 3 series is arriving next Wednesday.
The launch event will begin at 7PM local time in China, where Oppo will also introduce a new Zhimei Life smart product. The poster shared by Oppo teases the rotating crown on the Watch 3 series but doesn’t reveal anything else. However, the company previously confirmed that the Watch 3 series will be powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC.
The Oppo Watch 3 series is said to consist of three models, and we expect at least one of them to have the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip at the helm. The Watch 3 lineup’s rumored specs include a high screen-to-body ratio, LTPO display, Apollo 4 Plus dual chip, and standard ECG.
A couple of leaked images revealed the Watch 3 series will come with temperature monitoring.
The event is still five days away, so expect to hear more about the Watch 3 series from Oppo in the lead-up to the unveiling.
