It’s been a few years since we first started reporting on the possibility of an affordable “box” style cinema camera from Canon. For a while we were running with the name Canon Cinema EOS C50.
We think global events may have scuttled the arrival of some Cinema EOS products, but it’s good to see work is continuing on the segment.
As you can see from the gallery, the design of the camera is pretty advanced and detailed. We do believe such a camera is coming, unfortunately we do not have any confirmation at this time.
